Dear Ria,
On behalf of the Da’at Elementary School community—our students, teachers, and
parents—we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support over the
years, and especially during this challenging time. As we navigate the reality of returning to
school in the midst of war, stress, and uncertainty, your generosity has made a real
difference.
Many of our students are experiencing anxiety in different ways—difficulty concentrating,
hypersensitivity to sounds, trouble sleeping, intrusive thoughts about attacks, and a strong
need to stay close to adults.
Thanks to you, this year:
- 30 students have been able to participate in therapeutic horseback riding,
with another 30 students starting soon. - 75 students are receiving canine-assisted therapy, and another 25 students
will be joining them in the next round.

These therapies are life-changing. We see how they help children find calm, regain a sense
of control, and build confidence. They support not only emotional well-being but also social
skills and academic success.
Students who were once withdrawn have gained confidence and opened up to their peers.
Their focus in class has improved, and parents tell us their children are happier to come to
school. Many say the therapy has brought a sense of calm into their homes, with their
children becoming more independent and even playing with friends after
school—something that had been difficult for them before.
Because of your support, we are able to provide meaningful emotional care to so many of
our students.
With deep appreciation,
Yechezkel Landau – Principal
Idit Chelek & Reut Parnas – School Counselors
