To Yad L’Ami,
We would like to express our deep appreciation for your involvement and your
continued contribution to the Kibbutz Sufa community.
Your significant contribution in the fields of education, landscaping and renovation
of the buildings is an anchor of support and stability for us, especially in this
challenging time when our community is still unable to return home.
In particular, we would like to thank the volunteers from the Netherlands for their
work this past week. These precious people have chosen to leave their homes and
their families for an important purpose – to help rebuild our kibbutz. During their
stay here, they labored with dedication to establish a pergola, to construct a wooden
deck and restore the landscape of the kibbutz. The feeling that people overseas
choose to volunteer and to devote their precious time to our community,
strengthens us and gives us hope. Their hard work is yet another pillar in
strengthening and restoring our kibbutz and helping in the process of returning
home to the community.
It warms the heart to know that there are good people like you who reach out and
help us keep our sense of community and home, even in these complicated days.
With great appreciation and thanks,
Amit Weitz – director of Sufa community,
On behalf of the community of Kibbutz Sufa.
