Attached is a message we received from the parents of a student who received treatment:
In honor of Yad L’Ami,
We would like to express our deep gratitude for the support and assistance you provide to children by funding therapeutic riding at Kibbutz Sa’ad.
Our daughter, 11.5 years old, participates in therapeutic riding as part of the school’s activities, and the treatments have become a very significant part of her daily life. The encounter with the horses and the professional work within the treatment framework give her a special experience of success, confidence and pleasure. During this period, we can see how the activity contributes to strengthening her self-confidence, improving her social and emotional abilities and her sense of ability to cope with various challenges.
For us as parents it is exciting to see how she looks forward to the meeting every week, arrives enthusiastically and returns with a big smile and a sense of satisfaction. Therapeutic riding gives her an opportunity to develop, grow stronger and experience success in a unique and empowering way.
We know that without your generous support, many children would not be able to enjoy such a significant opportunity. Therefore, it is important for us to say a big thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your investment, giving, and belief in the children. Your support directly affects their lives and allows them to grow, progress and feel that they can succeed.
On behalf of our daughter and our family, thank you very much for your open heart and your blessed work. With best wishes and great appreciation,
The M. Family

In honor of Yad L’Ami:
We would like to express our great gratitude for your contribution to emotional therapy for the students of the Da’at School in Sa’ad. We share that following the ongoing war and the interruption in learning that occurred due to Operation Lion’s Roar, students are experiencing great difficulty in arriving at school regularly and with motivation to learn. There is an increase in reports of anxiety among the children, social difficulties, and loneliness, and difficulty concentrating on their studies.
This year, thanks to your generous donation, many students received individual and group emotional support: forty students have been receiving therapeutic horse-riding sessions, and ninety students have been receiving dog therapy. The teaching staff shares that the therapies create a safe space for students, personal connection, work on increasing self-confidence and a sense of competence.
In therapeutic riding, working on leading the horse gave them a sense of control, security and worked on emotional regulation. Parents report a positive change in their children, mainly an improved self-image and an experience of internal control. All students participate with great joy and share that they enjoy the very fact of being with the horse and contributing to its care. Emily, who conducts the sessions, creates a warm and pleasant connection with the students. She is serious and organized and works consistently with the children.
In the dog therapy sessions, we work in small groups of five students, and the therapist places an emphasis on social interaction and the sense of belonging and connection between the students, and works on emotional regulation and channeling anger. The students do therapeutic work with the dogs and through the dogs they touch their emotions. The students love going to therapy with Shay, who creates a very good connection with the students, arrives regularly, empowers them and is very caring towards them.
The students shared:
“It helped me overcome my fear”
“At first, I was afraid to touch dogs, to pet them. I was afraid they would bite me. It helped me overcome and taught me that I am capable of overcoming other fears as well”
“It taught me how to behave with a dog, how to train it, and gave me confidence”
“I didn’t believe I was capable of riding a horse alone”
“I feel that it helps me be calm”
We are aware of how much this response advances the students. We thank you very much for your significant support and hope for continued cooperation!
Best regards,
The therapeutic team and Yehezkel Landau, principal of the Da’at School
